Explainer Video Examples
The fastest way to understand an explainer is to watch a finished film with a job. We only show work we produced: BERA, Jude, AccessGrid, and PS Fertility — not stock, not other people’s reels. Length and style change. The job does not: make a complicated thing followable, then ask for one action. Steal the job of the example, not the look. Ignore style first. Watch whether you understand the offer by the midpoint and whether there is one ask.

What to look for in an example
Ignore the style first. Watch whether you understand the offer by the midpoint, whether there is one ask, and whether the pictures carry information the voiceover does not repeat. A pretty film that still leaves you unsure who it is for is a failed example.
An explainer video is a job, not a look. Wyzowl, Video Marketing Statistics 2026 reports 96% of people had watched an explainer to learn about a product or service, and 63% would most like to learn via a short video. The example that helps you is the one that teaches — not the one with the trendiest illustration.
Watch once for the claim. Watch again for the craft:
- Do you know who it is for by the midpoint?
- Is there one action, or a pile of “learn more” energy?
- Do the pictures add proof, or only decorate the same sentence?
- Would you put this on a homepage, a launch email, or a help center? If you cannot say, the film does not know either.
Examples from our studio
We use films we actually made — BERA, Jude, AccessGrid, PS Fertility — so the examples are real, not a moodboard of other people’s work. Length and style change. The job does not: make a complicated thing followable, then ask for one action. Watch the files below.
These are the real files. Not stock. Not a competitor roundup.
| Client | Length | Job | Steal this if |
|---|---|---|---|
| BERA | 1:48 | Research anniversary as an animated timeline | You have a story that is a sequence, not a feature list |
| Jude | 1:48 | Legal-tech workflow from prompt to document | The product doing the work is the proof |
| AccessGrid | 0:31 | One feature launch — credential pools | You shipped one capability and need it to travel |
| PS Fertility | 1:21 | Patient education / training explainer | The viewer already cares and needs followable steps |
BERA · 1:4850 Years of ResearchAnniversary film for the British Educational Research Association — a 50-year story told as an animated timeline. Jude · 1:48Conference explainerA full product story that walks a legal-tech workflow from prompt to finished document. AccessGrid · 0:31Credential Pools launchShort launch film for AccessGrid’s credential-pool feature — how newly issued passes get credentials automatically. PS Fertility · 1:21Patient educationWritten, complicated patient instructions turned into a short video patients can actually follow.
BERA is 2D used as a timeline. Jude is a product explainer. AccessGrid is a 31-second feature cut — still explainer work, not a homepage story. PS Fertility is closer to training video production: a complicated instruction, made followable.
Which format to steal for your brief
Steal the job, not the look. A timeline story, a product walkthrough, a feature launch, and a training piece each belong on a different page. Match the format to the viewer and the ask. Copying a style you like from a different category is how films look expensive and still miss.
| Format | Page it belongs on | Do not steal it for |
|---|---|---|
| Timeline / story | About, anniversary, research | A SaaS homepage that needs a product claim |
| Product walkthrough | Homepage, sales follow-up | A single feature announcement |
| Feature launch | Launch page, changelog, email | Explaining the whole company |
| Training / education | Help center, onboarding, clinic | Cold ads. The viewer already has a reason to watch |
Software teams often need the product walkthrough or the feature cut first. That stack is covered in SaaS video production. If you are still choosing who should make it, how to choose an explainer video company is the buying criteria — not a ranked list of studios.
How to brief from an example
Bring the film whose job matches yours, not the one whose colors you like. Name the audience, the page the film will live on, and the one action. Style comes after that. We will tell you which format is worth making first — not a montage of every style we can do.
A useful brief is short. Audience. Page. One sentence. One example whose job you want to steal. That is enough for us to say whether you need a homepage explainer, a feature launch, or a training piece.
We write the script, direct the pictures, and finish the film. Humans direct. Most films deliver within 3 days once the brief is clear. The smallest start is one done-for-you video. Book a free 15-minute Video Strategy Audit if you want that shortlist before anyone draws.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I see explainer video examples from this studio?
- On this page: BERA (research timeline), Jude (legal-tech workflow), AccessGrid (feature launch), and PS Fertility (patient education). They are films we made. We do not use stock or other studios’ work as our examples.
What should I look for in an explainer example?
- Ignore the style first. Watch whether you understand the offer by the midpoint, whether there is one ask, and whether the pictures carry information the voiceover does not repeat. A pretty film that still leaves you unsure who it is for is a failed example.

How do I brief a studio from an example?
- Bring the film whose job matches yours. Name the audience, the page the film will live on, and the one action. Style comes after that. We will tell you which format is worth making first — not a montage of every style we can do.
Do you have a whiteboard example?
- Not on this site. Our published films are 2D, product UI, and education. If whiteboard is the right fit, we still write the script first. We will not pretend a different style is a whiteboard case study.
